I. Applicants’ Requirements:
a. Current members in good standing of the organization and represent both K-12 and higher education teachers (Those who attended our 2012 conference or those that register as members now)
b. Application statement (350 words)
c. CV
d. Applicants who have never won a grant or a scholarship to an English speaking country.
II. Course dates and number of participants per specific course:
1. World Learning’s SIT TESOL Certificate Course (intermediate/advanced teachers): January 27 – February 23rd, 2013; 3 participants
2. Classroom Management and Compassionate Communication (teachers or teacher trainers): January 2- 13th, 2013; 1 participant
3. Skills and Principles in Language Teacher Training (teacher trainers): April 7 – April 20th, 2013; 2 participants
4. Assessment for Competency Based Learning and Teaching: April 21- May 4th , 2013; 2 participants
III. Costs
All program costs (including lodging and meals) will be covered by the funding from the US State Department, Washington, while travel costs will be covered by TESOL Chile. The only thing that the participants will be responsible for themselves are optional expenses.
