Encuentro internacional Teach for All se llevará a cabo por primera vez en Latinoamérica

Chile fue el país elegido para realizar la conferencia anual de la red Teach for All, a la que pertenecen 26 países. La red agrupa a diversas instituciones con programas similares al de Enseña Chile a lo largo del mundo.

La conferencia tiene una duración de cuatro días, desde el lunes de 12 al jueves 15 de noviembre, y se espera recibir a cerca de 200 personas de los países 26 que conforman la red.

Entre las actividades programadas destacan la “Cena de Bienvenida”, que se realizará en The Grange School el lunes a las 19.00 hrs., la visita a colegios y observación de clases el martes durante la mañana, y distintos paneles durante martes y miércoles, en los que exponen el Ministro de Educación, Harald Beyer, Amanda Ripley de la Revista Time y Andreas Schleicher de la OCDE, entre otros.

Estamos muy contentos de recibir a miembros de toda la red, compartir nuestras experiencias y trabajar en conjunto.

Thomas Baker is the Past-President of TESOL Chile (2010-2011). He is the Coordinator of the English Department at Colegio Internacional SEK in Santiago, Chile.
