Supported by the Chilean Ministry of Education and the UN Development Programme, the English Opens Doors Program works with native and near-native English speakers between 21 and 35 years old to teach English in Chile under the direction of head teachers in public and semi-private schools.
Administered by the Chilean Ministry of Education in conjunction with the United Nations Development Programme-Chile, English Opens Doors offers you the security of volunteering with a program supported by two highly legitimate international organizations.
Whether you’re a recent college graduate or young professional, EOD is an exciting opportunity for professional development. As a teaching assistant, you will work collaboratively with your host teacher to plan lessons as well as work independently to conduct classes in your own English-only classroom. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to hone your leadership skills while running extra-curricular activities for your students.
EOD helps you develop the cross-cultural communication and leadership skills necessary to succeed in today’s globalized world.
